Benefits of Chamber Membership

Your success is our mission.

Woodburn, Oregon State of the City Address hosted by the Woodburn Chamber of CommerceOur Mission. The mission of the Woodburn Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote and advance the economic and civic interests of Woodburn and the surrounding area.

The Chamber accomplishes this mission by providing member services, encouraging economic development and by involvement in the many aspects of community promotion. These three categories translate into six major "core benefits." They are Referrals, Publicity, Government Affairs, Credibility, Discounts and Benefits, and Community Improvement. No matter what your level of involvement, Chamber membership will always provide the six benefits.

In order to implement goals and objectives, your Chamber becomes a "front door" to the community and a "window" to the northern Willamette Valley, providing referrals, referrals, referrals. The first contact that tourists, prospective clients and new businesses have with our community is often the Chamber office. Our website, telephone, visitor's center and staff provide the first impression of Woodburn to these potential customers. Your participation keeps this "front door" of our community open and accessible.

Your Chamber addresses issues that affect your bottom line. We represent and advocate for our members on a variety of issues, including city planning, zoning and other ordinances, to ensure that your business interests are protected. We are there to represent you!

Your Chamber markets your business. People deal with people they know. And the Chamber provides venues like a monthly newsletter, forums, social events, and publications like this directory to create opportunities for you to network with other businesses. Get the competitive advantage of membership in the Woodburn Area Chamber of Commerce: increased sales; lower overhead; networking opportunities; business promotion; and support for your business.
