With more than 85 designer and outlet stores, including names like Nike, Liz Claiborne, OshKosh, Farberware, Aeropostale and more, Woodburn Company Stores is the largest outlet center in the Pacific Northwest. Popular brands, skylight-covered walkways and beautiful architecture and landscaping make it easy to see why this is Oregon’s No. 2 visitor destination year round. Historic downtown Woodburn is home to a vibrant Mexican-American business community. Bakeries and restaurants feature cuisine from many regions of Mexico, and specialty shops offer authentic Mexican meats, spices, and imported groceries, along with gift s, clothing, cookware, and Spanish- language music and movies. You’ll also discover authentic Russian restaurants and shops.


Woodburn is home to the nation’s No. 1 Garden Center as selected by the national organization Garden Centers of America. Al’s Garden Center, 1220 N. Pacific Highway, was recognized as the “Garden Center of the Year for 2005.” This was the first time the prestigious award has been won by an Oregon garden center, or by any garden center on the West Coast. The award is presented annually to only one independent retail center in North America. Al’s, founded in 1948, has grown into three retail locations supported by three growing facilities and more than 500,000 square feet of greenhouse space. Gardening enthusiasts don’t have to stop there! There are 18 retail nurseries and garden shops in the area. Antique lovers will want to take time to explore the village of Aurora just to the north. It was Oregon’s first National Historic District. Aurora boasts an unrivaled antique shopping experience that won the community its reputation as the state’s antique capital.


Art lovers will find galleries and outdoor mural displays to the east in Silverton, where unique shops, art galleries and eateries make its historic downtown a destination for family outings.


Woodburn retailers, range from national retail giants like Wal-Mart Supercenter to regional favorites like Coastal Farm, Home Supply and Shop ’n Kart.
