Our Schools

Woodburn
With tenacious commitment to foundational skill building, language study and cultural exploration, the Woodburn School District offers its nearly 4,700 students a cutting-edge learning experience, unparalleled in the state of Oregon. Whether through the innovative Woodburn Equitable Small School Transformation (WESST) academies and the prestigious International Baccalaureate programs at Woodburn High School or the district-wide dual language program for all students, Woodburn’s youth are challenged with curriculum that is aligned to state standards, teaching techniques that are based on researched best practices, and interactions that are centered on collaborative learning.

North Marion

North Marion School District lies along the I-5 corridor north of Woodburn that serves the communities of Butteville, Donald, Aurora and Hubbard. The district strives to instill a desire for life-long learning and equip each student with the competence and confidence to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world. Students learn in a caring and challenging atmosphere that emphasizes skills in math and reading, as well as technology and science. The district is known for its high standards, tradition of community service and partnerships within the community.

Gervais

Gervais School District is a small rural district located between Salem and Woodburn in the heart of the Willamette Valley’s prime agricultural land.  Th e district covers 65 square miles with four schools.  Its 1,067 students come from a variety of backgrounds. Gervais has received acclaim for classroom innovations like the Success for All program in its primary schools, integrated technology programs that include the use of wireless networking and laptop computers, and high academic standards that include college level courses.

St. Paul

St. Paul School District has a proud heritage and a tradition of excellence. Located 10 minutes west of Woodburn, St. Paul is a rural farming community founded in the mid-1800s. There are 250 students in two schools, K-8 and high school. St. Paul strives to provide an excellent education for its students, and sees its size as a great advantage. Class sizes are small, averaging fewer than 10 students. But small size does not mean small stature. St. Paul offers advanced math and science courses and is at the forefront of using technology to aid student learning.

Chemeketa Community College

Chemeketa’s Woodburn Campus, located at 120 E. Lincoln St. in historic downtown, serves about 1,200 students per term. The campus is inviting to seniors interested in furthering their education. The Woodburn campus is very strong in its language classes and business skills lab.
