Our Chamber
Chamber works to build vibrant business community
The Woodburn Area Chamber of Commerce is an association that unites the business, industrial and professional communities in efforts to benefit the local economy and to promote progress and prosperity. It is a private, non-profit organization governed by a board of directors that represents a cross-section of its membership. The board sets policy, establishes budgets and oversees the work of all committees and programs. Chamber leadership also sets forth goals and objectives for its committees and programs.
Chamber Membership Benefits
The Chamber provides networking opportunities through programs like Business After Hours and Greeters that help you meet other business people and make contact with government representatives.
The monthly Forum Lunch provides an opportunity for the community to identify issues and work together to find solutions. Special events like the Distinguished Service Awards Dinner and the Crystal Apple Awards highlight a thriving and volunteer-driven community.
The Chamber’s office and Visitor Center responds to thousands of inquiries every month about local services, products and professionals, area and state-wide attractions, and community events and attractions. The Chamber practices a “members-first” policy when responding to requests for information. To learn more about how Chamber membership can be an important part of your business plan, or to join the Chamber, contact Executive Director Don Judson, 503-982- 8221.
