Woodburn’s location gives its residents access to a variety of healthcare providers. Silverton Hospital offers comprehensive healthcare services and programs at its Silverton hospital campus and at four additional sites in Woodburn. A Family Birth Center that delivers more babies than hospitals twice its size, high quality medical staff and an emergency department with short wait times were among the reasons Silverton Hospital was named one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals® by Solucient in 2005.

In cooperation with Silverton Hospital, Woodburn’s Tukwila Center for Health and Medicine houses centers for diagnostic imaging, specialty care, Turning Point Health & Weight Management, community education and rehabilitation. The diagnostic imaging program offers local access to state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures including MRI, CT scanning, bone-density screening, digital imaging, ultrasound, body composition assessment and mammography.

Tukwila is also the home-base for a variety of physicians and other health professionals, meaning Woodburn residents can now benefit from a wide variety of specialty medical care without leaving the community. Physicians recruited by the hospital to practice in Woodburn include specialists in obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, general and vascular surgery, gastroenterology, ear, nose and throat, orthopedic surgery, urology, podiatry, clinic psychology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, dermatology and neurology.

Woodburn Urgent Care gives Woodburn residents access to non-emergency care for illnesses and injuries when they can’t immediately be seen by their regular physician.

Woodburn Family Medicine offers a comfort- able environment for patients seeking primary care services from the center’s family practice professionals. Woodburn Internal Medicine is home to medical specialists in internal medicine, gerontology and primary adult care.

In late 2006, Silverton Hospital opened Wellspring Medical Center in Woodburn – an innovative approach to whole-person health- care and lifestyle management that will offer multidimensional health optimization services such as integrative medicine, immediate care, an aesthetic center and spa, fitness, health retail center and educational programs. Wellspring will also provide conference space and a northwest bistro to the business community and residents.

Silverton Hospital’s free transportation program, CareVan, provides door-to-door service for patients of the hospital and any of its clinics.

Legacy Meridian Park Hospital in Tualatin offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including cardiology, cancer, diagnostic imaging, stroke and 24-hour emergency care.

Legacy Clinic Woodburn serves the community with family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, diabetes services and women’s health services.

Evergreen Family Care provides comprehensive healthcare for the entire family, with emphasis on weight management, diabetes care and women’s healthcare.

Salud Medical Center, affiliated with the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, offers comprehensive medical and dental services, maternity care, and WIC nutrition programs to English-, Spanish- and Russian- speaking patients of all income levels.

Woodburn Vision Source offers comprehensive optometry and ophthalmology services. Woodburn Hearing Center offers comprehensive hearing and audiology services and repair.
